Come to the Big South Fork Airpark and uncover nature at its best!
Big South Fork Airpark encompasses 450 acres with an extensive network of forested riding trails throughout the airpark grounds. Canopied paths weave throughout the gently rolling property and border many lots. These serene trails offer a magnificent ride from your home to the hangars, welcome center, 50 acre Equestrian Center, and everywhere in between. If a longer ride is what you prefer, the 125,000 acre Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is conveniently accessible via the scenic O & W road. The Airpark’s modern Equestrian Center sits directly on the O & W road and borders the river leading into the park.
Discover hidden waterfalls, gorgeous rock formations, and an amazing variety of wildlife through the 180 miles of horse trails at the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. These horse trails are all signed and marked with a white blaze and yellow horse head, making them easy to follow. The trails vary in both length and degree of difficulty. Choose from short, peaceful day rides to long and vigorous loops that can take several days to complete. Horseback riders are advised to purchase a Trails Illustrated map from one of the park visitor centers to familiarize themselves with the extensive network of trails.
