Stonehenge Golf Club is the newest addition to the cluster of championship golf courses at Fairfield Glade in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. This golf club, nestled in the spectacular Cumberland Mountains, is a world class, par 72 championship golf course designed by renowned architect Joe Lee. Stonehenge Golf Club features not only an unforgettable golf course, but also a beautiful clubhouse and superb dining, making it the #1 resort course in Tennessee.Architect Joe Lee has taken an immaculate piece of land in the unspoiled Cumberland Plateau and molded it into the masterwork that is Stonehenge. The course is named for the massive amounts of native stone found throughout the 6,549 yard layout. This natural rock can be found on several holes, along with a 15 foot layered stone retaining wall running along the rear and left of the signature 14th hole. Bent grass tees, greens and fairways also provide superior playing conditions.
All of the facilities at Stonehenge Golf Club are full service facilities. These facilities include a 40-station bent grass practice range, chipping green, putting green, practice bunker, and food and beverage service. In addition, golf lessons are offered and clinics are held Tuesday through Friday at 1:00 P.M. during the golf season. Forgot your clubs? Top of the line rentals are available for men, women and left handed players. All tee times are made by calling Central Tee Times at 800-624-8755. Stonehenge Golf Club is open to the public.
